Robert Wechsler is Director of Research for City Ethics. He writes the nation's only municipal ethics blog and put together the City Ethics Model Ethics Code Project.
He is a member of the board of Common Cause Connecticut, for which he prepared a Model Code of Ethics for Connecticut municipalities and has written reports on the state's municipal ethics codes and on the state's forms of municipal government and how to change them.
A former lawyer, he ran Catbird Press, an independent book publisher specializing in literature, sophisticated humor, and books that help people do good better. He is the author of Performing Without a Stage: The Art of Literary Translation, and a graduate of Harvard College and Columbia University Law School.
