Colton credit card had phone-sex charges

COLTON State and local authorities are investigating hundreds of phone-sex calls and dozens of hotel bills charged to the city-issued cell phone and credit card of Councilman Ramon Hernandez.

Hernandez, a 46-year-old father of three, says the card was stolen and the phone cloned. The bill, which totals $5,457, has been paid by the city, which has in turn been reimbursed by Mayor Pro Tem John Mitchell, a staunch ally of Hernandez.
