COVER STORY
Recently Susan Eastman from the Folio Weekly wrote the lead article for that week on Carla's activities in the City of Jacksonville role as Ethics Officer.
You can find the original (Large PDF) document at the Folio Weekly www.folioweekly.com website [8.07 MB], or you can download a compressed version of it here [2.4MB].
Note that the document is formatted for the newspaper's page size, so you'll need to select "fit to page" or similar to get output to a Letter sized printout.

Sharon McEachern (not verified) says:
Sounds like folks in Jacksonville haven't yet figured out that when you come upon "Miller's Crossing," you really should stop and look both ways. The Carla Train just might still be comin'.
People who are caught in her "do-right light" may call her a "grenade-throwing" trouble-maker. Oh, Puleez! Carla Miller is an inspiration and an ethics hero. Of course, that is a punishable offense.
Anyone who tries to draw the light of awareness onto ethics issues knows it can be a very unfriendly, sometimes frightening place to be. Hoorah for Carla! Hip Hip!
There's so much to do in ethics work. I think we can be certain, the job will never end. At the Ethic Soup blog, I just wrote the second article in three months on America's arrested mayors -- it's a crowded field. For those interested, the article can be read at:
